I'm sad that Yamashita Shoon has left Hyakushiki...or Johnnys I suppose. I think of him as a veteran junior, one who can show the others the ropes. Confidence, easygoing, kind. I have no doubt that Sho admired Shoon. The whole Hyakushiki cast is really something else.
Much to think about. The unfairness of the world. Shoon. The brave front Shoon must have put on and the encouraging smile that Sho, among others, would have tried to give back.

Pictures of the Day: Takada's works of art
of Inocchi sensei: round 1
Round 2
Improved Inocchi sensei
(nods) Sho is a good student.
I laughed when I saw the pro caricature artist draw Sho and Keito. Keito was spot on but Sho....it does look like him but...

Ran-san ja nee yo. Takada Sho picked on by Inocchi-sensei.
I'd like to see a reel of Ran-san moments.

Picture of the Day: Food Critic Takada Sho
"What is this???"
"Hm...."
"Eh..."
"I can't breathe!!!"
"Ehh???!!!~~"
"It tastes good but..."
"I was looking forward to something normal!"
"I'm so happy...(that we're done)" *cries*
He's hilarious.
Bonus: a sleeping/waking Sho

Soccer and Sho? A great combination.
I really had to laugh. He did his actor's deep voice thing again. But it was cool too.
I'll try to get a clip soon.
For now, screen caps should suffice.

His cheering is so unmanly that it's cute.
The laugh lines around his eyes...I love seeing that on people.
Can I say something? He has amazing skin. He really does.

Sho's Eyes...are very Expressive.
His eyes....he's right. He does have big eyes. They bulge out of his sockets when he's shocked.
This is priceless.
This too.
I noticed this early on but it's still hilarious. His eyes...
He's very passionate about food. Whenever there's a food segment, he's more open and willing to share his opinions.
"What the heck is this??? Tastes weird."
"I don't even want to say anything. It's that wrong."
"Deta! Unexpectedly delicious!!!!"
"Looking forward to the next one!"
"Yum...Let me savor the taste."
"Let me explain to you why it is so delicious."
"You're kidding me right? No. Hell no. I can't even chew it properly."
He's serious about his taste buds. I don't remember where I saw it, but he said that he enjoyed sour things like umeboshi (pickled plums). He likes that extra bite.

Sho is a Fisherman! Look at the size of that thing!
This was quite entertaining. Sho and Shoon go to a cafe dedicated to goldfish. Sho is really quite good at catching goldfish. He was on a roll! And afterward, they went to another cafe near an airstrip. Neat-o. I love Hyakushiki Ou

Grandfather Clock Song Zeal: Sho's so Adorably Awkward
I love this clip.
Takada Sho and Yamashita Shoon go to this cafe where the customers sing together. It's beyond cute. The two of them end up being ushered to the stage to lead the song. Sho seems so happy being there--I think he has a soft spot for grandma and grandpa types.
He looks so sharp in that Hyakushiki pinstripe suit.
You know, I wonder how tall he is. On a Spain JE fanclub site, I read that he was 5'6", but that was written 2 years ago, when he was 14. In the clip, he looks taller than Shoon, who, according to various profiles, is 171 cm, or about 5'7.5". So Sho must be 5'8" or 5'9" at least.

I bought the Hyakushiki book!!!!
I'm really excited. I was debating on whether or not I should buy it because I wasn't sure what it would include but after reading a Japanese fan's blog entry on Hyakushiki, I was more than willing to buy it.
It's supposed to come in a month. That really is quite long but for Sho, I'll be patient. I can't wait to see the yuruge included.
Speaking of yuruge, I taught one to my sister and it was hilarious. I did the "balance a quarter on a dollar" one over the phone and she told me that I had too much time on hand. I'm excited to use some of these games for my sister's baby shower!
Honestly though, it's ingenious, all of the neat tricks that they've taught through Hyakushiki.
I also bought a calendar. I haven't been able to find good scans of junior calendars online and I really really just wanted to marvel at Sho's charismatic face so I bought it. Even if he'll only be shown once or twice, it'll be worth it.
I've got it bad.

157 pages!!! But it's looking to be a small book.

Welcome
This is the first official English Takada Sho, or perhaps the only Takada Sho dedicated fan blog in existence as of this moment. It will be fun. What I will try to do is comb magazine articles and pictures and lay them out here and I'll also try to do some translations. Although my Japanese is only basic, I think that I can do it.
Takada Sho is an ungrouped jr and known for his charming smile, when he allows the world to see it, that is. He is a member of the Hyakushiki team, perhaps the most reserved one and he's still getting his feet wet.
Also, I will be creating a youtube account with Sho's clips. When it's ready, I'll post links.
